The Croatian variety BC 274 SU SU is a specialized sweet corn. Detailed morphological descriptions and agronomic characteristics of this variety are absent in open publications.
The hybrid 274A Xtra-Tender belongs to the improved supersweet corn type with bicolored kernels. The plant reaches a height of about 180 cm, the ear length is 20 cm. The ripening period is 71–74 days.
The hybrid 274A possesses high seed germination energy. It is resistant to Stewart's bacterial wilt, but shows susceptibility to rust and northern corn leaf blight.
