The hybrid belongs to the 600 maturity group according to the FAO classification. The presence of the "YG" suffix in the name indicates the use of YieldGard technology, which confers resistance to a range of pests such as the European corn borer. The hybrid is officially classified as genetically modified.
The primary purpose of the hybrid is silage production; field trials for grain productivity are also conducted. In Italian conditions, harvesting is carried out at the grain development stage corresponding to two-thirds of the milk line, using standard application rates of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers with the use of herbicides.
