The hybrid belongs to the waxy type, in which the grain starch consists almost exclusively of amylopectin. The growing period is about 130 days; the recommended plant density for grain production is 7.0–7.5 plants per m².
The primary purpose of the variety is industrial processing. Due to the specific properties of amylopectin, the starch of this hybrid is easily extracted and used as a thickener, gelling agent, and sweetener; it is also used as a model sample in studies of food extrusion.
