The hybrid forms yellow dent grain on conical-cylindrical ears with a red cob. There are 16–18 rows of grain per ear, and the thousand kernel weight is about 300 g.
The plant possesses high resistance to lodging and major diseases, including common smut, stalk rot, and helminthosporium leaf blight. The variety is characterized by rapid grain moisture loss and high starch content, which allows its use in bioethanol production.
The recommended harvest density ranges from 60–65 thousand plants/ha under rainfed cultivation to 75–80 thousand plants/ha when sown for silage. Under favorable conditions, grain yield at 14.5% moisture reaches 13–16 t/ha.
