Simona F1 is a double-cross hybrid belonging to the medium-early or medium-late maturity group. The growing season is about 160 days, which may vary depending on growing conditions. The plant demonstrates tolerance to diseases and the ability to maintain yield under adverse conditions.

The grains of this variety form large butterfly-type flakes when heated. The hybrid is intended exclusively for popcorn processing and is characterized by a high expansion ratio of the kernels.
