The ACX SS1508DY hybrid is used primarily for industrial processing. In scientific studies, the variety was examined as an object for evaluating productivity, adaptability to nitrogen nutrition, and resistance to stress arising from crop thickening.

During field trials, an analysis of marketable ear weight, total yield, and economic efficiency of the hybrid was conducted. Detailed morphological characteristics, such as plant height or grain features, are not presented in open publications.
