The Shaker variety, also known by the breeding number XPH 3080, is a mid-season hybrid. Due to the shrunken-2 (sh2) endosperm genetic type, the kernels retain their sweetness longer, slowly converting sugar into starch.

The produce is characterized by a bright yellow kernel color and high yield, making it suitable for the processing industry and fresh market sales. The plants possess good lodging resistance.
