The hybrid Bordo F1 is mid-season, with a vegetation period of 74–76 days. The plant reaches 180 cm in height, the ear length is 20–22 cm.
The grains are of the super sweet SH2 type with a sugar content of more than 25%. The grain color is purple-red; the color may change during boiling. The hybrid is characterized by drought tolerance.
When grown next to corn of a different color, cross-pollination is possible, which may cause the grains to acquire a blue tint.
