The hybrid belonged to the Dekalb brand and was used in agricultural production in the USA during the 1970s. The variety was also used as one of the subjects for yield trials in various regions.
In scientific research, the hybrid was used as a subject for laboratory work on plant physiology, in particular, in the analysis of drought tolerance at the seedling stage. Detailed morphological descriptions of the adult plant are absent from publications.
