Maize DK 312 is a mid-early hybrid. The plant is of medium height, has a long ear, and the grain belongs to the dent type and is yellow in the upper part. Tassel flowering occurs at medium dates; the main axis of the tassel is located above the lateral branches.
The hybrid has high resistance to southern corn leaf blight and bacteriosis, is weakly affected by common smut, but is susceptible to damage by stalk and ear Fusarium, as well as the European corn borer. Sowing is permissible at a soil temperature from 8 °C; seeding density is from 60 to 75 thousand plants per hectare.
This variety is intended primarily for grain cultivation, however, use for silage is possible. The hybrid demonstrates high drought tolerance and is suitable for traditional and minimum tillage technologies, as well as for No-Till.
