The hybrid belongs to the mid-early maturity group, designated as S 240 in the German classification. It is intended primarily for use as silage and for biogas production.
During field trials, the hybrid demonstrated high indicators for starch content and starch yield, as well as high biogas yield. Regarding total dry matter yield, the hybrid's results varied and did not always reach the average level of the test assortment.
Like other representatives of the Dekalb line, the hybrid is a first-generation (F1) product and is not intended for re-sowing with seeds obtained from the harvest. Hybrids of this line are characterized by a developed root system and adaptability.
