The early-maturing hybrid FAO 190 has a plant height of 230–240 cm with a cob attachment height of 95–105 cm. The cylindrical cob reaches a length of 22–23 cm and contains 14–16 rows of yellow flint-dent grain. The thousand kernel weight is 270–280 g.
The hybrid is distinguished by its capacity for accelerated spring development and a developed root system, which ensures lodging resistance. The potential grain yield reaches 11.5 t/ha with a grain outturn of 80–81%. Moisture loss is rated as average; the crop responds well to fertilizer application.
