The Ukrainian hybrid DN Nur is a simple modified hybrid. Plants reach a height of 220–230 cm, cylindrical ears 20–22 cm long have 14–16 rows of yellow flint-dent grain. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to lodging, drought, and smut diseases, and is intended for grain use.

The Russian hybrid Nur is distinguished by a plant height of 170–180 cm and slightly conical ears 18–20 cm long. It possesses cold tolerance and is resistant to root lodging, stalk rots, ear fusariosis, and the European corn borer. It is intended for cultivation for grain, grain-cob mass, and silage.
