The Doge hybrid belongs to late-maturing corn varieties with an FAO 700+ rating. In agronomic studies, it was considered as a crop for silage production, where yield potential, silage quality, and methane yield were evaluated.
Plants of this hybrid have a significant height. As part of scientific work, the variety was also used to study the interaction with the pathogen Colletotrichum graminicola, which causes corn anthracnose.
