The Dolar hybrid belongs to mid-maturing (FAO 390–410) and is characterized by a dent grain type. The plants possess high resistance to lodging, as well as to a complex of diseases, including common smut, helminthosporiosis, rust, stalk and root rots.
The variety is adapted to minimum and no-tillage technologies and efficiently utilizes soil resources and fertilizers. The recommended plant density at harvest time is 45–55 thousand plants per hectare for the Steppe zone and 60–70 thousand plants per hectare for the Forest-Steppe zone.
