The variety belonged to the silage use direction. Research involving it was conducted in a number of European countries, including Germany, Finland, France, and Italy.
During the 1970s trials, the variety demonstrated varying degrees of resistance to root and stalk rots depending on the climatic conditions of the cultivation region. Laboratory analyses of 1978 noted high indicators of grain yellowness.
