The variety is the result of breeding activities by Delley Seeds and Plants Ltd, carried out in cooperation with the Swiss center for agricultural research Agroscope.
In the official descriptive variety lists of the Federal Plant Variety Office of Germany, the variety is presented in the form of standardized numerical ratings on a scale from 1 to 9, characterizing maturity, yield, lodging resistance, and susceptibility to diseases.
