The hybrid was created by crossing lines XM 92 470 and XM-93 295. In the breeding program for the development of this variety, induced chemical mutagenesis methods were used with the application of NMU and DAB mutagens to create genetic variations.
The plant belongs to the mid-early maturity group and is classified according to the international FAO scale as a 400 group hybrid. The primary use of the variety is grain production.
