The object is an inbred maize line developed at the Bergamo breeding station in Italy. It was derived from elite lines Va59 and Va53, as well as the commercial hybrid P3183.
The line is used for scientific purposes to study genetic diversity, construct genetic maps (AFLP), and determine membership in heterotic groups. Data on morphological traits or the agronomic value of the material are absent in open publications.
