The hybrid Полесский 212 СВ is a mid-early plant with a height of 230–260 cm and a leaf count on the main stem ranging from 10 to 14. The ear is intermediate in shape, and the grain is yellow, flint-dent type.
The plant possesses high resistance to stalk rot, bacteriosis, and ear Fusarium, while maintaining moderate resistance to common smut. Due to slow dry-down during grain maturation, the primary recommendation is to use the hybrid for silage.
The average grain yield is 80–90 c/ha with a potential of up to 123 c/ha. The dry matter yield for silage reaches 190–200 c/ha, with maximum values up to 253 c/ha.
