The hybrid forms plants 150–200 cm tall that are not prone to tillering. The stalk is characterized by resistance to lodging and stalk breakage, with 17 to 18 leaves developing on the main stalk.
The ear is cylindrical in shape, 16–20 cm long, with a red cob and 16–18 rows of kernels. The hybrid possesses good drought tolerance, however, it requires monitoring for smut disease infection depending on the weather conditions of the year and sowing dates.
