The line is adapted to the climatic conditions of the central, north-central, southwestern, and western regions of the U.S. Corn Belt. It is used to produce hybrids with a relative maturity of approximately 107 days and serves as genetic material in the development of new lines.
The plant features excellent ear coverage by husks. The line is characterized by early flowering and pronounced stalk resistance to breakage, which are important traits for further use in hybrid breeding.
