The Ph7m8 line was developed for crossing with other corn lines to obtain hybrids. It appears in patent documentation as one of the components involved in the creation of experimental hybrid forms.
A separate description of the line's morphological characteristics is absent from open publications. It is known that hybrids created with its participation possess above-average yield, good lodging resistance of roots and stalks, and an increased rate of green leaf retention.
This line is a product of breeding work through self-pollination to fix genetic traits and is not intended for sowing in commercial production.
