The hybrid belongs to the mid-late maturity group (FAO 430, in some evaluation systems 380 or 300) and is a two-line hybrid. The plant possesses the "Stay Green" effect, which maintains high forage quality, and is characterized by rapid grain moisture loss during ripening. The starch content in the grain is approximately 72.4%.
The maize possesses high resistance to lodging, cold tolerance, and drought tolerance due to the use of Artesian genetics, which are aimed at adaptation to moisture deficit. The hybrid is primarily grown for grain, however, in a number of regions it is used for silage production. Suitable for warm regions, irrigated lands, and sandy soils.
