Dill maturity groups are determined by the number of days until the technical or biological maturity phase is reached. Early-maturing varieties transition to flowering 30–40 days after emergence, mid-season varieties in 40–45 days, and late-maturing varieties require more than 45 days, characterized by delayed bolting and increased foliage.
