In rapeseed breeding, the priority task is to increase oil content while simultaneously reducing the levels of erucic acid and glucosinolates. Effective evaluation of seed quality in production and breeding is carried out using extraction, nuclear magnetic resonance, or near-infrared spectrometry methods.
