Selecting varieties with an appropriate vegetation period is critical for adaptation to climatic conditions, as the crop prefers moderate temperatures of 18–20°C. Autumn cooling and light frosts at the end of the vegetation period positively affect crop quality, contributing to the accumulation of sugars and increasing the nutritional value of the sprouts.
