Pelargonium peltatum (L.) L'Hér.
The plant height of ivy-leaved pelargonium is defined as the distance from the soil surface to the top of the plant, with the total length of the flexible trailing shoots recorded separately.

Managing the habit of pelargonium requires regular pinching of the tips to stimulate branching. Height control is closely related to nutrient balance: excess nitrogen leads to intensive vegetative growth at the expense of flowering, which may also depend on the volume of the container selected for planting.
