Variety description

The variety is a shrub with dense branching and a broadly rounded or dome-shaped habit. Small leaves are elliptical or ovate in shape with a distinct glossy sheen. The foliage color undergoes seasonal changes: from bright green in spring to dark green in summer and copper in autumn.

The plant flowers from mid-summer until the first frosts with small tubular flowers of a white-pink shade with a pleasant aroma. After flowering, noticeable purple sepals remain on the shrub. The variety shows drought tolerance after establishment; winter hardiness is limited to temperatures around -15°C.
