The variety is a semi-evergreen or evergreen shrub 0.6–0.9 m in height and 1.2–1.5 m in width. The plant has a dense, rounded, spreading crown. The glossy foliage has a variegated color: young leaves are bright pink in spring, then become gray-green with a creamy-white margin, and in the autumn-winter period they acquire copper-pink or purple-bronze shades.
Flowering continues from late spring to early autumn. The flowers are tubular, white or light pink in color, and have a faint fragrance. The variety is characterized by good drought and heat tolerance after establishment, as well as winter hardiness in USDA zones 6–9. The plant is used in landscape design for mass plantings and as an accent shrub, attracting pollinating insects.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
