The plant is an annual herbaceous crop, reaches a height of 150–200 cm, and is characterized by rapid growth. The variety is thermophilic, prefers sunny areas, and is adapted to the climatic conditions of Ukraine.

The fruits have an elongated pepper-like shape and green color. They are harvested in an immature state at a length of 5–10 cm, as they become coarse when overripe. The fruits are used in cooking for preparing soups, side dishes, stewing, frying, or are consumed raw.
