Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps with pinnately dissected dark-gray-green or medium-green leaves. Flowering occurs from June to August or September; with proper care, a second flush is possible in late summer.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, and tolerates urban conditions well. It requires good drainage, as it is sensitive to excess soil moisture, especially during the winter period. It has sturdy branching stems that sometimes require support.
Used as an ornamental plant for flower beds, borders, mass plantings, and container gardening, and is also suitable for cut flowers. The flowers attract bees and bumblebees.
