The cultivar is a male plant intended for the production of pollen necessary for the pollination of female kiwi cultivars, such as Hayward or Jenny. One vine is capable of providing pollination for up to 5–8 female plants. The flowering period occurs in May–June; the plant produces fragrant white or creamy-white flowers.

The plant is a vigorous vine reaching a height of 3 to 6 meters, requiring the mandatory installation of support, such as a trellis or pergola. The cultivar is characterized by hardiness and high disease resistance, although it has susceptibility to Armillaria. The crop is valued for its decorative heart-shaped dark green foliage.
