Variety description

The variety is a male plant used as a pollinator for female Actinidia varieties. In breeding documentation, the variety was initially designated by the working number R2P8. The plant is not intended for fruit production.

Flowering of the variety occurs from the second ten-day period of May to the second ten-day period of June, which coincides with the flowering period of the pollinated female varieties. Each inflorescence forms from 4 to 8 flowers.

The variety was selected for its high pollen productivity, with viability exceeding 90% and germination rate of more than 90%. Breeding work was aimed at adaptation to the climatic conditions of Romania.
