Variety description

The variety is female, so the presence of a male pollinator plant is required for fruit set. The plant is vigorous, reaching 2–3 meters or more depending on training. Harvesting usually takes place in November.

The fruits are elongated and have a more rounded shape compared to some other varieties; their weight ranges from 40 to 50 g. The fruit surface is brown and pubescent. The taste is sweet-and-sour, and the content of soluble solids is lower than that of the Hayward or Allison varieties.

The variety is thermophilic and sensitive to frost, which distinguishes it from frost-resistant Actinidia species, such as A. arguta. In regions with cold climates, it requires protection or cultivation in protected cultivation.
