The variety is used exclusively as a male pollinator. It is recommended to plant one Tamori plant for every 8–9 female individuals. The variety does not produce fruit.

The plant is capable of propagation by cuttings, which root relatively easily. In agronomic literature, the variety is often mentioned alongside other well-known pollinators, such as Matua.
