Aeschynanthus variety Bella Donna is a trailing plant that forms hanging shoots. The leaves are dark green in color, have a smooth surface and an oval or ovate shape, measuring 4–5 cm.

The plant's flowers are tubular, reaching 5–5.5 cm in length and 1.5–2 cm in diameter. The flower color varies from bright red to dark red, sometimes with brownish shades.

The variety is intended for cultivation in hanging baskets or planters as a houseplant. It is characterized by early flowering, requires a well-drained substrate and bright diffused lighting, and is sensitive to waterlogging.
