The plant has a trailing growth habit. Its appearance is characterized by densely arranged bright green leaves and tubular flowers of a red color typical for the genus. Due to the shape of the flowers, the plant is sometimes called 'Lipstick plant'.

The variety is intended for use as an indoor ornamental plant. Successful cultivation requires conditions typical for this genus: the presence of diffused light, an increased level of air humidity, and protection from direct sunlight.
