Variety description

The variety HinesAg1 is a mutation of Agapanthus africanus. The plant is distinguished by variegated foliage with yellow-green variegation. The inflorescences have a sky-blue, sometimes bluish-purple shade.

The height of the peduncles is about 60 cm; the overall dimensions of an adult specimen reach 100 cm in height and width. Flowering occurs from mid-summer to early autumn. The variety tolerates temperature drops down to -5°C and requires well-drained soils.
