The variety is a hybrid of Agapanthus campanulatus var. patens. The plant is characterized by its compactness: after 10 years, the height reaches approximately 0.5 m. The habit is characterized as creeping and spreading; the foliage is green and belongs to deciduous forms, although it may exhibit semi-evergreen traits.

Flowering is abundant, lasting from June to August on upright stems. The flowers are deep blue with a darker stripe down the center of the petals. By the age of 5, the plant is capable of forming up to 100 inflorescences.

The variety possesses good cold hardiness for this crop, withstanding frosts down to -7°C...-9°C; with mulching, the frost resistance limit is higher. In regions with cold climates, covering or container cultivation with overwintering in a protected place is recommended.
