Variety description

The plant forms flowers 3–3.5 cm in diameter and 3.5–4 cm in length, gathered in umbellate inflorescences 10–15 cm in diameter. The color varies from light blue to dark violet-blue, with a characteristic bordered and striped pattern present on each flower.

The length of the peduncle when used as a cut flower is about 70 cm. The variety is a heat-loving perennial, which in temperate climates requires covering or wintering indoors.
