The plant forms dense tufts 30 to 60 cm high, and in some cases, flower stalks reach 80 cm. The leaves are narrow, strap-shaped, dark green, and retain their color during the winter period. The flowers are gathered in large spherical inflorescences on strong flower stalks.

The variety possesses resistance to drought and common root system diseases; frost resistance is limited to -15 °C. The plant is suitable for landscape design, container cultivation, and use in cut flower arrangements.
