The variety was developed from genetic material collected in northern Spain. It is intended for use in low-maintenance turf mixtures and for land reclamation purposes.
The plant features a fine leaf structure and maintains a dark green color throughout the year. Research confirms good resistance to the pathogen Sclerotinia homoeocarpa, which causes dollar spot.
The variety is adapted to the conditions of the northern regions of Spain and demonstrates the greatest efficiency in zones with mild climates and sufficient moisture levels. Like other representatives of the species Agrostis capillaris, it is characterized by slow establishment and sensitivity to drought.
