Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is intended for creating green covers on golf courses, croquet lawns, and bowling greens, as well as for landscaping. It is often used in mixtures with red fescue to form wear-resistant lawns with low maintenance costs.

The plant has high shoot density and fine leaves, and tolerates low mowing well. The variety demonstrates adaptability to various growing conditions; however, some studies have noted that it may be inferior to certain other varieties in terms of winter survival.

The seeding rate is 10–15 g/m² when establishing a new lawn and 5–10 g/m² for overseeding. The variety is included in specialized turf quality guides, where it is evaluated by its visual characteristics and resistance to wear.
