The variety belongs to the multiplier onion type, which forms clusters of several bulbs. It does not produce seeds and propagates exclusively by vegetative means through the planting of bulb sets.
The plant has an intense flavor, with less pronounced sweetness compared to commercial varieties, and is distinguished by high keeping quality of the planting material.
During cultivation, planting is carried out in spring, leaving the bulb necks above the soil surface. The size of the future bulbs is regulated by planting density, and harvesting is carried out in August during dry weather.
