In publications by amateur gardeners and online store offerings, the variety is described as an early-maturing winter onion with a vegetation period from the beginning of regrowth to maturity of about 87–90 days. The bulbs have a round, dense shape, a yellow color, and a weight of 90–100 g.

Data on the origin of the variety in amateur sources vary; sometimes Russian breeding is mentioned. Official breeding companies do not confirm the presence of such a variety in their commercial assortment programs.
