Aspen (PS93490) is an intermediate-day white onion with a round bulb shape and sturdy, short leaves. Currently, the variety is not an active commercial item in Seminis catalogs and belongs to obsolete breeding lines from the 1990s.
This variety was aimed at the fresh market and had stated resistance to pink root rot. The name Aspen is also found in other agricultural crops, including tomatoes, barley, and beans, which requires caution when identifying seed material.
