The bulb has a regular round shape with a slight conical narrowing towards the base, with an average diameter of about 65 mm, a height of 55 mm, and a weight of 100 g. The outer scales are colored brownish-red-violet, while the inner succulent scales are white with violet skin. The leaves of the plant are semi-erect and have a grayish-green hue.
The variety is propagated by sets. Spring planting in March allows for a harvest by mid-July; autumn planting in October is also acceptable. The plant has good resistance to diseases, which facilitates its use in organic farming. Storage capacity is rated as medium, with the harvest from autumn planting storing worse than that from spring planting.
