The Elsye F1 hybrid belongs to the intermediate-day crop type with a growing season of 90–95 days. The plant has an upright habit and a thin neck, which ensures rapid drying after harvest. The bulbs are spherical in shape with yellow outer scales and are characterized by their firmness and uniformity, with a weight of 70–90 g.

The variety has resistance to thrips, lodging, and bolting, as well as intermediate resistance to pink root (Pyrenochaeta terrestris). The taste is characterized as mild and sweet. The hybrid is suitable for fresh market sales and processing.
