The plant is suitable for cultivation from sets and is not prone to premature bolting when large planting material is used. The variety prefers sunny locations and light, fertile, sandy soils. It is used fresh and for long-term storage, maintaining its quality until spring.
The variety has been used in scientific research for studying crop protection against pests, such as the onion fly and the leaf miner Napomyza gymnostoma, in the context of intercropping trials.
